Humble Hope at Pentecost

Hope is the orientation of our thought and will beyond the present to the perfect that is coming. In Hope we are citizens of the future world in the midst of the present. - Karl Barth

This is also what Pentecost is about: Hope. Living hope. Inspired hope. Hope that today, by God's grace and mercy, we do God's will on earth as it is in heaven.
