Change to Email Addresses ...
Effective April 19, 2008, key Christ Lutheran email addresses have been
changed to addresses hosted by our Internet Service Provider (I.S.P.): 24/7
Telcom. These changes are:
Pastor Geoff
Scott: revgeoff@wwt.net
Church Office: office.clc@wwt.net
If you need to
correspond with the church office about financial matters, send email to
office.clc@wwt.net and they will
inform you of the correct addressing for financial matters. All of these
WWT.NET addresses will now be protected by our Internet Service Provider's
SPAM system, and will no longer require self-verification for "first-time"
senders. These addresses were changed to deal with the volume of mail and
attachments and to better utilize services already provided by our I.S.P.
(For about 3 months, messages sent to The PRIOR addresses for those changed
individuals will BE FORWARDED TO THE NEW ADDRESS, and the sender will
receive an AUTOMATIC MESSAGE informing them of this change.)
However, the
adjunt staff and volunteer email addresses listed on this site continue
to be hosted on our Web Server: welcome2clc.org, as they are
automatically forwarded to personal email addresses. These WELCOME2CLC.ORG
addresses will continue to be protected by the "Box Trapper" system
requiring "self-verification*" of "first-time" senders.
So, when you send email to any "@welcome2clc.org" email addresses for the first time, check your email promptly for the automated self-verification message and reply to it as directed. Your email address will then be verified and future emails from and to the same addresses will NOT require verification. If more than one
full day passes between sending your original message and your verification reply, you may need to send your original message again, then reply immediately to the verification message your receive.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation in helping to make email more civil
and useful. *We reserve the right to suspend and block any previously verified fraudulent or
repetitively abusing email address. |
